It’s probably more complicated but I’m assuming that Shoko went mad/died/whatever because Teppei went missing (seems like she has a crush on him) all of a sudden forever and Takano got into an accident out of depression (cos he likes her but she doesn’t?) or something thus Takano lost his memory that’s why he doesn’t remember Teppei? Crap I need the rest of the drama already.
